Unable to resolve nameserver [ns3.*******.net] within 5 seco

Post by mtylerb »

I keep getting the notification when clicking Check Server Security. It says:

Unable to resolve nameserver [ns3.*******.net] within 5 seconds
Unable to resolve nameserver [ns4.*******.net] within 5 seconds

I have a feeling it has to do with the fact that those are my IPv6 nameserver entries. Is this something that CSF doesn't support yet? Currently ns1 and ns2 are IPv4 while ns3 and ns4 are IPv6. I have tested extensively through IPv6 testing services and everything works correctly. Unless this test requires use of my home browser to complete the test. I don't have IPv6 at home or anywhere in my area, yet.

We'll rework the nameserver report code in the next release to hopefully include IPv6 support if the Socket6 perl module is installed.
