Hi,
we have an installation of the Config Mailscanner on our server and we noticed recently that the routing of high scoring spam to a spambox is not working and it even looks that these spam messages are completely disappearing.
On the MailSacnner Front End these messages are labeled blue, i.e. as 'no scan' (??) and in the Email Track Delivery report in Cpanel, these message are labeled as "filtered", but they are not found in the recipient's mailbox.
We still have SpamAssassin enabled in our installation. Can it be that there is an incompatibility between MailSanner and SpamAssassin and should we disable SpamAssassin in WHM?
Thank you very much for your suggestions
Gabrielle
Disappearing spam messages
Re: Disappearing spam messages
If you're running MailScanner, you should disable Spamassassin in WHM, both in Tweak Settings and Service Manager.
To try to find out what is happening to those emails, check this knowledgebase article:

Hi Sarah,
Thank you for your fast reply.
One more question: when disabling Spamassassin can we then nevertheless enable the Apache SpamAssassin™ Spam Box?
Thanks!

Re: Disappearing spam messages
No, but there is a similar feature within the MailScanner Front-End that you can enable. Go to the MSFE UI in WHM, click on Front-End Settings, and look for "Allow users and defaults to use MSFE SpamBox (BETA)".
