A user submitting the wrong login details to the mail service or htaccess login can easily result in their IP address being added to the CXS reputation list. Their access to the server will be blocked, and access to other servers using CXS reputation list.
When a user reports the problem, the first thing we do is search for & remove the IP address in CSF (as I presume most server admins will do).
It would be most useful if unblocking an IP address on CSF also removes it from the CXS reputation list.
And if searching for an IP address in CSF also checked the CXS reputation list(s).
I can see other CXS users reported encountering the same problem here:

Agree and have asked about this. Received the following from ConfigServer:
It is something we will consider but as it is not a common problem it may not be a likely feature addition, since it would add overhead to an otherwise simple csf unblocking process.

Re: Unblocking IP on CSF should remove it from CXS reputation list
It may not be a common occurrence but it does happen to inept customers once or twice a year. Making the time consumed trying to remove it from CXS blocklists crucial. There could be thousands or tens of thousands of IPs on a CXS blocklist and we have to search thru all that manually each time. There has to be simpler & more importantly faster way to remove or add an IP to one or more CXS blocklists??
