CXS doesn't detect malware after reboot

Community forum to discuss cxs.
If you believe that there is a problem with your cxs installation and want support then, as a paid product, you should use the helpdesk after having consulted the documentation.

CXS doesn't detect malware after reboot

Post by imadsani »

Hello,

New here, I apologize if this has been asked before. Tried searching the CXS subforum but couldn't find a similar thread.

I'm new to CXS, just got it ~2 weeks ago. I seem to be experiencing an odd one. CXS doesn't seem to pick up malware files after the server has rebooted, it only starts detecting them when I click "restart CXS Watch" from the "ConfigServer eXploit Scanner" section.

I've checked after the reboot, before manually restarting it, that the service is in fact running "cxs Watch Daemon - cxs Watch is running"

Any ideas?

As you have CXS, it seems that you have bought that option from ConfigServer and they have installed it for you.
Do you know that the payed scripts has support directly from them? Just open a support ticket and they will help you.
