Does stopping csxwatch service make CXS useless?

If you believe that there is a problem with your cxs installation and want support then, as a paid product, you should use the helpdesk after having consulted the documentation.

Does stopping csxwatch service make CXS useless?

I am getting over 800 emails a day about how CXSWATCH is failing to start.

If I stop the service, will the scans I am getting emailed about stop?

And will it make CXS useless?

Yes.. if you stop Csx, The service will not work on your server. You can adjust the emails and notifications. I would suggest looking into the reason csxwatch is not starting.
