Errors in CSF after updating to EasyApache 4

Post by HappymanUK »

I've updated my server from using EasyApache 3 to EasyApache 4 but now when I run a scan with ConfigServer Security & Firewall I am getting the attached warnings (which I didn't get before).

Is this a bug, or are these all genuine warnings that I need to work through ?

The system is running PHP 5.6.29

Thanks in advance

It's not bug, it's not problem,

Just ignore this warning.

You have blocked to shell script (exploit) for good.

If they can be ignored though surely they shouldn't be flagging up in the first place ?

eg. Why is it saying I should upgrade to php 5.6 when I'm already running 5.6 ? - Surely that must be a 'bug' ?

Thanks

CSF errors - even on latest build 10.00

Post by HappymanUK »

I updated my server some time ago from using EasyApache 3 to EasyApache 4 but when I run the scan with ConfigServer Security & Firewall I get multiple warnings which I didn't get before.

Today my CSF has been updated to 10.00 and the issue still persists.

Here is a screenshot of the errors I am seeing: http://i67.tinypic.com/f9gx1d.png

The system is running PHP 5.6.29

Thanks in advance

Those warnings are entirely correct. Each warning is in reference to each php binary listed that exists on the server.

Thanks for your reply.

What about the first error:

'Any version of PHP (Current 5.5.38) older than v5.6* is now obsolete.

I'm not running 5.5.38 but 5.6.29 ??

Again, the warning provides the location of the PHP v5.5 binary that has been found on the server.
