Just a quick note that it looks like when the new wildcard functionality was added the example regex in regex.custom.pm is missing a secondary starting opening bracket ( so it might cause some people some problems.

This has now been address on v6.44, it only applies to new installs and does not affect existing regex.custom.pm files:
