I have a problem with MailScanner on RHEL x86_64
The Tail Maillog from ConfigServer MailScanner Front-End says

First Post! (Of many I'm sure)

I use RBLs, but I can't figure out a good setting for Spam Lists To Be Spam and Spam Lists To Reach High Score . When I set the former to be 1 and the latter to 2 (as suggested) I end up with some definite spam leaking through. The sender is listed in one RBL, the score is set to 0.00 and no more checks seem to be done. The mail slips right on through. I would love...

Hi all

Is it possible to change / remove the email subjects that Mailscanner adds to suspected SPAM? Especially for outgoing emails?

Their client complain about this, and it's rather anoying. I realize these headers could become useful, but how do we use them? And how do I disable them on the server?

Did the upgrade to mailscanner per instructions, started upgrading to clamav per instructions until I got to here:

replace Example #Example -- /usr/local/etc/freshclam.conf
replace Example #Example -- /usr/local/etc/clamd.conf

I believe I was to edit the conf files and replace them at mention, correct? If so, the next instruction says to run freshclam, did and got this error:

ERROR: Parse...

MailScanner analyze each message and each condition give point, if the total point is over the spam value it will be check as spam.

That is great, but we need a document that explain each condition (the names doesnt give us any idea of what they are).

I also interest if the full report is include in the message and not only the total points.

I had a funky thing happening where my MailScanner was tagging ALL email coming in/out as {Spam}... ultimately, I turned it off, but I need to get back in and get filtering turned on again. I can't stand the spam. It was working great for a while, but I'm not sure if the problems happened after some upgrade I did or what...
