Hi.
I have been using CMM for a long time and I will like to have two options in there that could help us a lot:
1. Download a zip file with all the emails that a user has in all his/her folders.
2. Upload a zip file with all the emails that a user has to his/her folder.
The meaning of this is:
1. We can do a backup of the emails that the user has.
2. Then we can use the backup file to recreate...
Firstly thanks for CMM. I think this is a neat add-on to WHM and you've done a good job with its feature set. I'll definitely be keeping this as standard across our WHM servers.
My only suggestion is that when setting a mailbox quota (for both new and existing mailboxes) the account mailbox quota limit should be ignorable. I suggest this because larger mailboxes (larger than a host's...
The default email account for a cPanel domain does not show in CMM. Could support be added for this? It would be relatively easy through the logic of retrieving the associated cpanel account ID from the domain name. Once the cpanel account is identified, actions like opening the mailbox or configuring other mail settings for the default account linked with that domain name could now be...
I've not been able to retry/retest and get the issue again but today I pressed the delete button (green circle (which, to me, looked like a refresh/reload button :( )) and it deleted all emails showing in an inbox without a prompt/javascript alert showing.
The page was when viewing a mail account folder for a users emails (i.e Cur) and you have the circle at the top in the middle....
Could it be possible to add the SUSPEND ACCOUNT inside CMM?
I think it is a nice future from cPanel Fifty4 and could help us to suspend only one email account when the account is compromised and it would be great if we could get inside CSF an option to suspend an account when it has some blocked distributed SMTP Logins meaning that the email account was compromised.
In the mail queue, I have the ability to search for messages with XX words and simply delete them. Its a fantastic tool!!
I would like to have the same ability for email already inside of the individual email boxes...
So if someone@mydomain . com has an inbox full of junk stuff, I can delete spam out of there via a keyword search.
It would also be helpful if I could do this for all the email...
Webmail users keep running out of space because their Trash folder is full, I tried to find a solution for purge at login or logout , purge after X days ...but I couldn't find any working solution. Is there any way to include in the ConfigServer Mail Manage an option to PURGE ALL DELETED boxes in the Account and not at user level?
Hi Chirpy,
today CPanel has a major upgrade, after the upgrade CMM is not working as it should be.
The following error is showing up:
/scripts/update_email_limits user01
This command is deprecated, please run /usr/local/cpanel/scripts/updateuserdomains instead
Executing /usr/local/cpanel/scripts/updateuserdomains ...
Could you please add a confirmation that you want to Empty Mailbox from within a mailbox.
There IS a confirm when Empty Mailbox is selected from the mailbox list but not when inside a mailbox.
This would be consistant with the current interface (perhaps it was overlooked).
I have a suggestion for an added action while managing email accounts through cmm.
It would be very cool if there was an action to backup the email account before using the Empty Mailbox action. Currently I have to login to the server to create the backup manually before clearing out a mail account that has been left unchecked for ages. It would be very nice to have the ability to do this...
Wow, I'm amazed you folks haven't thought of this.
With the increased used of mobile devices, clients are deleting or moving email to trash within accounts, then have no clue how to empty the trash (creating a lot of customer service time wastage).
So...
What do you think about adding these two options in Mail Manager:
- Delete email in trash for specific email account
- Clear trash of all email...
I have a customer who has their e-mail configured for remote mail exchange. They are running a forum on their account and sending out the messages to their users from the forum software, that ends up sending them out through sendmail. I need to be able to control the outgoing mail limit for their domain, but it is not being shown in the list of domains in CMM.
In the listing, it would be great if you could add check boxes next to each address, so you can do multiple addresses at once on features like the delete or empty mailboxes.
I was tired of checking my e-mail and reciving all those Warning: Message XXXX... or Undelivered Mail Returned to Sender or even Mail delivery failed: returning messag.. and I usally get many of these when I send out news letter.
So instead of downloading them and removing it on my e-mail program I decided to use CMM to do that.
I used to check the check all option and them Delete Selected but...
Officially requesting a button that will run SpamAssassin's sa-learn on the currently managed mailbox within CMM. For example, I am managing qqq domain.tld and I clear out all BUT the spam. I then click the sa-learn button and after a confirmation dialog it runs sa-learn on the entire contents of the mbox. Doable?
