Hi People,

I have a webdesign Company working on one site on my server, they are currently working with Wordpress Admin tool.

They get dissconnected alot of times with the following message:
IP ADDRESS found to have 161 connections - *Blocked in csf* for 1800 secs [CT_LIMIT]

Is this a Wordpress error or have I configured something wrong?

My CT_LIMIT = 100 and CT_INTERVAL is set to 30

The webdesigners do not have static IP's so I can't whitelist them :/

Any suggestions whould be nice.

Regards,
Jan

Quoting the CSF Configuration file for CT_LIMIT:

"Care should be taken with this option. It's entirely possible that you will
see false-positives. Some protocols can be connection hungry, e.g. FTP, IMAPD
and HTTP so it could be quite easy to trigger, especially with a lot of
closed connections in TIME_WAIT. However, for a server that is prone to DOS
attacks this may be very useful. A reasonable setting for this option might
be around 300."
