Since the latest upgrades and changes in Mailscanner I have been receiving the following cron errors:
/etc/cron.daily/freshclam:
ERROR: Problem with internal logger (UpdateLogFile = /var/log/clamav/freshclam.log).
ERROR: Can't open /var/log/clamav/freshclam.log in append mode (check permissions!).
Running freshclam manually is updating but nothing is recorded in the log file:
-rw-r--r-- 1 clam clam 2135 Jun 14 03:30 freshclam.log
I have at least 3 freshclam.conf files and in most case all options are pounded out including the log file and user options. What should be changed where?
Note these are cpanel servers.

That is not a cron job used by our MailScanner implementation and should be removed now that it uses Clamavconnector from cPanel which updates freshclam via a job in the root crontab.
