CSF SMTP_BLOCK Issue

Hello,

One server out of all systems is having issues with SMTP_BLOCK seemingly applying itself even though its set to "0"

The server functions fine for a month or so, then randomly denies all outbound connections to SMTP only. When we restart CSF, without any configuration changes, the issue is resolved.

Please help us know where to start looking. There's no obvious errors anywhere...

When SMTP_BLOCK is turned on, the outbound localhost connection to port 25 is blocked. Try sending a mail from shell and see if it is delivering as usual.

We have done that and sending mail through command line works fine, but sending mail through applications does not, but we have had multiple occurrences on this one particular server, where mail stops working, and we issue a csf -r command and the issue resolves itself, we aren't adjusting any rules prior to restarting the firewall.

We don't see any obvious errors that would account for this. Is there anywhere else we should look regarding this?

Is there a way to see the current running config without restarting the service? Is there a way to enable some type of debug mode without restarting the application to do real time troubleshooting?
