clamd failed after attempt to update clamav

CENTOS 5.11 x86_64 standard – server3 WHM 11.50.0 (build 10)
MailScanner - v4.84.5
ConfigServer MailScanner Script - v2.94
MailScanner Front-End - v5.00
A new version of ClamAV (Current:v New:v0.99) is available
Was initially installed and configured by Way to the Web
Unpacking, building and installing new ClamAV package...
Retrieving ClamAV tarball from Sourceforge...

Checked the forums for similar, but found nothing that helps.
Checked the settings in Service Manager.
ClamAV Daemon is Enabled but not Monitored
clamav in Additional Services is Enabled and Monitored
Have tried the update multiple times with no change.
