Spam Files

Post by Rockyuk »

Hi Everyone,
I am currently having issues with spammers gaining access to some of my websites. They are uploading spam scripts but cxs is not detecting them? How can I configure CXS to pick up these new spam scripts as it is causing major issues with regards to my servers getting blacklisted for spam!

Thanks

We would need quite a lot of detailed information in order to help you with this. You might prefer to submit a ticket on the helpdesk, with the following information at least:

Are you running cxs watch?
Have you checked that email alerts are being sent by cxs and received by you?
Are you monitoring and checking any files reported in the cxs alerts that you receive?
How are the exploits being uploaded? (ftp, php script, etc.)
Have you configured cxs to quarantine suspected exploits?
Have you checked whether the specific spamming exploits are actually detected by cxs, and if not, have you submitted them to us using the --wttw option?
etc.

Regards,
Sarah
