Since latest version we need to register the plugin with appconfig, otherwise it will not work and you get an error notice that it's not register.
It's possible to do it manually, but I'm not sure about paths etc.

In newest versions of Cpanel it needs to be done with Appconfig:

The Configserver firewall has this already, because no error there when using.
Will CMM and CMQ be updated to, so it can be used again in Cpanel again?

All of our applications have been registering themselves on installation since before the feature went live into the EDGE build last year, indeed we helped in its development. If you have an old version of the plugin and not updated it, you can either reinstall or run:
