SYSLOG_CHECK option check shows red on cloudlinux server

hello,

i'm installing csf on cloudlinux server with cagefs enabled. when doing "Check Server Security", the test "SYSLOG_CHECK option check" kept showing in red.

RESTRICT_SYSLOG is set to 3 and i can see "mysyslog" group is created with gid 494

on other server which is centos based, this doesn't happen. "SYSLOG_CHECK option check" shows in green after i set RESTRICT_SYSLOG to 3

is this supposed to happen or i'm doing wrong? what should i do to test that the configuration is actually take place?

You are confusing two separate and different options. One is RESTRICT_SYSLOG, the other is SYSLOG_CHECK. They both appear in csf.conf
