MS hangs intermittently

I have noticed recently that every day on my cPanel server, sometimes multiple times per day, but not necessarily at the same time, MS will "hang"--i.e., stop processing mail. MS reports that it is up and running, but the queues build up significantly and no mail is being delivered. The only solution is to restart MS manually from within MSFE, at which point MS begins processing again and continues without incident until the next time this occurs.

All scripts are up-to-date and functioning normally, except for this issue.

There are no obvious errors in any of the logs.

Although I can work around this problem, it's a hassle to have to log in and check the queue and restart MS if it has quit on the job. Any suggestions for what might be going on?

Have you checked the load on your server at the time this is happening?
