We are seeing something off when this option is enabled. Emails with known viruses - "Clamd: cv.zip was infected: Trojan.Downloader-98036 " was delivered to the mailbox.

Deliver Cleaned Emails was set to Yes, and Virus Scanning was set to Yes also.

Should the Virus not have been removed and replaced with a warning? This client would like to be notified *all* emails, in particular any that the sender receives a bounce about bad-content or viruses.

Does anyone have a suggestion or recommendation that may help?

What is your setting for Deliver Cleaned Messages in the MailScanner configuration? Are you still using the ruleset? If so, did you check that the actual ruleset file is correct for that domain?

I have just tested this configuration with the eicar test virus on one of our servers and the email was delivered after the virus was removed. Have you tried testing it with a test virus?
