There was an update last week and ever since our MailScanner has been messed up. Emails from our WHMCS are now being flagged as SPAM. This never happened before. Our support ticket emails are also being flagged as SPAM. This also never happened before. Netflix emails are being marked as spam under a couple accounts. This also never happened before. Whitelisting *@netflix.com corrects this issue. The only way to fix the WHMCS email issue is to white list the domain it runs under. This is not acceptable as it allos ALL spam to the support desk which then floods our support staff. After doing some comparisons it looks like spamd (SpamAssassin) has incrased the spam scores than what it was before. An email is, the WHMCS emails used to score a total SPAM score of 2.73. Now it's scoring 5.73. If we increase the score upto 6 then it lets a lot of spam into our system.
If there is not a fix to this, how can we downgrade to a version that worked with no issues compared to all these issues with the updated version.
Update & Spam Issues
You need to look at the individual spamassassin tests that these emails are scoring for and fix the issue, either reduce the spam score for those particular tests or if possible change the way the emails are constructed or sent so they don't match for those tests.
