If you are using Microsoft Outlook, we strongly recommend you change your

2) Go to the "Mail Format" tab
3) For message format, select "HTML" or "Plain text"
4) Click OK

The virus detector said this about the message:

I haven't seen the issue of MS blocking lfd messages with the report "Message attempted to kill MailScanner". Are you running the latest version of MailScanner? Is there plenty of space left on your hard disks and partitions?

I'm afraid it's not something we've seen. All I can suggest is running MailScanner in debug mode and if that doesn't give you any clues (errors that you can look into) then you might want to check the MailScanner mailing list.
