I upgraded mailscanner ClamAV and cpanel frontend
yesterday and now when I check status in the frontend it says mailscanner is not running
yet in whm services it says it is.
I dont think it is acually working for the user accounts.

Has anyone else experienced this problem
Does anyone know the solution.

You could try Force MailScanner Update and see if that brings it around.

Tried force reinstal for mailscanner and clamav
and no change

Have you gone through the suggestions in this FAQ?
