Hi

I'm suffering from ClamAV not being able to compile. It's a known issue, for which there is a bug fix - see -

https:// wwws.clamav.net/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=1737 (remove the space to make the URL work)

I running FC10 but get identical issues when I try upgrading to the latest ClamAV.

"A new version of ClamAV (Current:v0.95.2 New:v0.95.3) is available"

The current ClamAV wont start.

Whats the best way to apply the bug fix?

Thanks

Robert

I'm afraid that we can't offer help with FC10 as it's EOL and Fedora is not supported by cPanel or us.

Hi

OK, so can I ask my question a different way.

When I use the Mailscanner FE to upgrade ClamAV, Mailscanner FE retrieves ClamAV and then compiles it, which then fails.

What I need to do is to retrieve it, run the clamav patch, and then compile it in the same manner as MailScanner does.

So I'll look at addon_mailscanner.cgi and see how it does it, or is there an easier way to achieve what I need to do?

Fredora is still supported by CPanel on existing installations, but not on new installs (we all would like to migrate!!)

Thanks
