isn't there some type of rule/setting I can set so that mailscanner only scans a file if its under a certain file size? I cant seem to find that setting. To much spam is getting through because the email file size is so large. Need to increase that setting.

It's "Max Spam Check Size" in the MailScanner Configuration. It applies to the whole message, not just the file attachment.
Another setting you might want to look at is "Max SpamAssassin Size". This will tell you how much of the message to scan, if you don't want it to scan the entire message.
Detailed information about these options is found in the text just above each option in the config file.
