Since ordered the installation of MSFE, the Clamav virus Scanner in Cpanel fails.

Is there a way to have Clamav reinstalled in the standard cPanel way back again?
Is it Possible to run MSFE without Clamav?
Are there any special instructions to do it?

Thanks,

Hilário
P.S. This is the Clamav failure report in CPanel:

You can't use cPanel's clamavconnector with MailScanner. It will break MailScanner. I don't know why you're getting that error in cPanel, but since you can't use cPanel's clamav with MailScanner it doesn't matter, unless of course you want to uninstall MailScanner so you can use cPanel clamav.

Hi Sarah,

I will not uninstall Mailscanner !
I just do not want to use Clamav with Mailscanner anymore.
I believe that if I do not set Mailscanner to use Clamav, it won't break Mailscanner.

I need instructions to:
1) Set Mailscanner to not use Clamav.
2) Uninstall Clamav
3) Reinstall clamav in cPanel way.

It doesn't matter if you're using clamav with MailScanner or not, enabling the clamavconnector in cPanel will break MailScanner. As far as I am aware, there is no way around this.
