realay alert don't work for me since cpanel accelerated

Post by sanpas »

since new cpanel update, relay alert don't work for me (in 3 dif. servers)

I have in exim.conf "log_selector = +arguments +subject" and in csf config. RT_RELAY_ALERT are set to 1, and RT_RELAY_LIMIT are set to 100

thanks in advance

You could try rebuilding exim.conf:

/scripts/buildeximconf
/scripts/restartsrv_exim

We saw that the warning comes when send are originated from localhost script "LOCALRELAY Alert for nobody," but not when the customer send through smtp

I've tested this by setting RT_RELAY_LIMIT to a low value and got immediate hits, so wasn't able to recreate a problem.

hi, we set the value of RT_RELAY_LIMIT to 1, but only receive notifications for emails received in the server... not for those sent by our clients, any idea ?

If they're outgoing authenticated emails, then they're not tracked under RELAY, but RT_POPRELAY_* or RT_AUTHRELAY_* depending on the authentication method used.
