Failed to link message body...

Hi,

After upgrading to the latest version no emails are processed by MailScanner anymore. The maillog entries show:

Jan 12 15:01:20 server MailScanner[14199]: Virus and Content Scanning: Starting
Jan 12 15:01:23 server MailScanner[14199]: Content Checks: Detected and have disarmed web bug tags in HTML message in 1LMNK8-0002Tg-Qj from xxx@xxx.com
Jan 12 15:01:23 server MailScanner[14199]: Failed to link message body between queues (/var/spool/exim/input/L/1LMN6L-0005kc-7Z-D --> /var/spool/exim_incoming/input/L/1LMN6L-0005kc-7Z-D)
Jan 12 15:01:23 server MailScanner[14199]: Could not open file >/var/spool/exim/input/L/1LMN6L-0005kc-7Z-T: No such file or directory
Jan 12 15:01:23 server MailScanner[14199]: Cannot create + lock clean tempfile /var/spool/exim/input/L/1LMN6L-0005kc-7Z-T,

Would you please advise how to fix that?

Got fixed after upgrading with option 2.

This type of issue might also be fixed by running one or both of the following:

Code: Select all

/usr/mscpanel/mscheck.pl

and/or the appropriate one of the following two:

Code: Select all

/usr/mscpanel/msswitch.pl in # (if you are running incoming only scanning) or

/usr/mscpanel/msswitch.pl inout # (if you are running both in and out scanning)
