253 Messages forwarded unscanned by MailScanner

What causes mail to skip being checked by MailScanner? I do not have a high load server (currently: 0.08 0.18 0.15 - for example).

Here's my MS report from yesterday. Notice how many were forwarded unscanned. I'd like to configure my server in such a way that very few, if any, messages are skipped.

Thanks!
Matt

It could be outgoing mail that is not being scanned. By default we configure MailScanner to not scan outgoing mail. Or it could be some rule that is causing the mail not to be scanned. It could also be that they were too large to scan. To find out for sure you will need to find some of these emails in MailWatch to determine why they were not scanned.

Oh! I think you're right! At least on the most recent few I see with no SA score, they are "from" my client "to" an external recipient.

Well, that was easy. Thanks!!
