My customers are getting bombarded with the bogus "CNN Alert" emails.

How can we block them server wide based on the subject?

Thanks in advance for any help.

I too would like to know how this works we have the MSN and the CNN issue going on and I would like to be able to stop these emails when they happen.

Please advise.

This isn't really the kind of thing MailScanner is designed for, although you could use MCP. Read about MCP (Message Content Protection) in the MailScanner configuration file (WHM -> MailScanner FE -> MailScanner Configuration or /usr/mailscanner/etc/MailScanner.conf).

The best way might be to write your own spamassassin rule. Visit the spamassassin website to learn how to do this. You would put your new rule in a file in the /etc/mail/spamassassin/ directory.

Alternatively you could use an exim filter, which you can find out how to do on the exim website or newsgroup.
