We have had at least 2 instances of a virus getting through mailscanner today. Never before have we had any get through to my knowledge in 18 months of using mailscanner

The email have a zip file attached - images**.zip - I recall some time ago that similar named attached virus (or back-door Trojans) were prolific some time ago, but mailscanner always caught them.

Is there going to be another onslaught? How do I stop these ?

ClamAV - v0.93.3 is installed

Hi Peter,

Assuming that you have checked that clamav is working and catching other viruses, then this is something you need to take up with clamav. Here's a link to the web-based version of their mailing list:
