Hello Chirpy,
On the last edge version (11.23.3-E25459) getting the follow error and blank page:
Undefined subroutine &SafeFile::safeopen called at /usr/local/cpanel/whostmgr/docroot/cgi/addon_csf.cgi line 869.
Can you fix this?

Since edge isn't recommended to be used in a production environment and that many changes will most likely take place before it reaches release and stable versions, I wouldn't expect csf to be updated to support 'beta' versions or a version that isn't officially released yet.

+1 here.
edge is perfectly fine in a production envirnoment, if the admin is capable of maintaining it. and i haven't see that may issues that could not be fixed in 2 3 minutes.

Here's what cPanel says on the 'Update Configuration' page in WHM
Edge is the bleeding edge tree. While it has the newest features; It has undergone the least amount of testing (if any). You generally shouldn't run this build unless you need a bug fix or feature in it. Once an equivalent CURRENT or RELEASE build has been released, you should switch away from this.
My point is that it isn't a csf problem. After the edge release has gone through the testing and is released as Current or Release then most likely they'll have fixed the bugs.
I don't think Chirpy should be fixing things in basically what is 'Beta' versions of cPanel where there is a lot higher possibility of problems.
If it's not working, then maybe a bug report to cPanel is in order about the problem so it's fixed by the current/release/stable versions.

I've now released a new version that EDGE causes. The problem when using EDGE is that cPanel are often still playing around with things. In this case they've moved the SafeFile module goal posts a couple of times and this breaks things.
