I think the documentation is not very explanatory when it comes to the BLOCK_REPORT feature.
I suspect more than one person found out that this only works for triggers from LFD after a lot of debugging.
This hampers more or less the idea of being able to report abusive IP's or report them because half of the features of CSF rely on, well, CSF and not on LFD.
Since CSF already has the option to email admins on all temporary or permanent blocks, including from connection tracking CT or CSF blocks on ports is there any specific reason why this can't work as well for the block_report function?
This would be really helpful, and I think others have asked these years back. Someone could modify the email notification for this but why not just add it as the next version? Maybe as an extra path or file instead of block_report, but if it can trigger an email, it can certainly do something more simple which is just triggering a file path.
