Hello,

LFD goes down after 5 minutes with no warning in the logs.

After a restart this works for another 5 minutes and goes to inactive again.

I'm using this on Cloudlinux 7.7 with Plesk Obsidian.

thor:/var/log# csf -v
csf: v13.07 (generic)

thor:/var/log# systemctl is-active {csf,lfd}
active
inactive

Hi,

I'm facing exactly the same issue. LFD is going inactive every 5 minutes. I couldn't find anything related to this in the logs. How can I fix this? It's a cPanel server by the way.

Update : I found the following in the lfd logs -

May  9 15:00:48 earth lfd[18696]: Main Process: open3: pipe(GLOB(0x3aa6a78), GLOB(0x60086a0)) failed: Too many open files at /usr/sbin/lfd line 8210.

May  9 15:00:48 earth lfd[18696]: daemon stopped
May  9 15:00:53 earth lfd[18954]: *Error* pid mismatch or missing, at line 1161
May  9 15:00:53 earth lfd[18954]: daemon stopped

Any suggestion on fixing this?
