Hello,

In our WHM (CPanel) lfd service is down (after we have root partition full problem, few days ago)
As soon as fix the partition (free up some space) problem, lfd didnt start up and we cannot start it out yet.

At lfd.log file we have only this error (repeatable):

Apr 13 15:37:16 cpanel1 lfd[496985]: *Error* LF_DAEMON not enabled in /etc/csf/csf.conf, at line 82
Apr 13 15:37:16 cpanel1 lfd[496985]: daemon stopped

At csf.conf we have this at line 82:

# Using this option will prevent some legitimate logging, e.g. end-user cron


How can we fix this ?

Also we tried to restart the service via WHM , but without success...

Starting lfd:Can't use an undefined value as a symbol reference at /usr/sbin/lfd line 7156, line 717.

You have to take CSF out of testing mode before LFD will start. In the meantime, you get a steady stream of cPanel emails saying that LFD is down and 'the system’s command to check or to restart this service failed'.
