CSF - Messenger Unblock - Not working [FIXED!]

Post by nebukazar »

Hi,

We are currently testing messenger with reCAPTCHA activated to allow our customer to unblock their IP when blocked.
So far, the HTML service is running and we are able to get the web page.
The reCAPTCHA is able to validate if the visitor is a bot or not but for some reason, once reCAPTCHA has been validated, the IP still remains blocked even tho we are seeing the following message:

"Passed human test. Please wait a few seconds and your IP address should be unblocked."

The "csf" user has been created and lfd restarted.
ipt_REDIRECT is loaded and the required perl module installed (by default with cpanel).

Do you guys have any ideas what might be wrong ?

Thanks!

Make sure that you have created MESSENGER_USER with a home directory and that the user has write access to that directory. The user process creates and updates a file within that directory that the main lfd process reads for unblocking IP's.

Have you guys gotten the unblock over ssl to work without a certificate warning?
I keep getting a site not secure warning if I browse to the a website (while being blocked) over the https connection...

Is there a way to fix it? I've tried everything...
