There is a spammer sending spam with larger image files attached to one particular email address. They are bypassing the spam feature by sending large files (300k and above) so spam report score is Too Large (I presume that means the files are too large to scan for spam)
I initially tried blocking the small IP range which stop them for a while, but now they are using a variety of IP address, and using a variety of domain names with the word sparrow in them
In an attempt to further block them I have blacklisted
*@sparrow*.com
*@*sparrow.com
*@*sparrow*.com
Any suggestions to kill these forever? - I am concerned that if one spammer is finding that they can get email through by attaching large images, a floodgate will open
You can increase the size of mail that MailScanner/Spamassassin will scan in the MailScanner Configuration. I think it's "max spam check size".That's probably your best bet.
