CSF debian + DA (iptables test problem)

Post by geek »

Hello,

I had the same issue as reported before by a user in (General CSF discussion).

On Debian 4.0 + DirectAdmin control Panel , pressing test iptables button in CSF interface

will kill the server instantly, the load went higher than 100 and the server became completly

inaccessible, I had to turn of the power completly from the server as normal restart wasn't

working either (like DDoSing myself).

after 300 days of uptime the first 20 minutes downtime was due to this problem :P

waiting a fix ASAP.

That suggests the kernel is failing to handle the modprobe commands to load the iptables modules. This should hopefully be address in the forthcoming csf release.
