lfd killing cpanel full backups

Post by ZigZam »

LFD is killing cpanel full backups.

Ex:

Time: Mon Sep 29 16:54:13 2008 -0500
Account: username
Process Count: 3 (Killed)

Process Information:

User:Username PID:4947 Run Time:24(secs) Memory:2760(kb) exe:/bin/tar cmd:tar czpf - .
User:Username PID:4948 Run Time:24(secs) Memory:2716(kb) exe:/bin/tar cmd:tar czpf - .
User:Username PID:4949 Run Time:24(secs) Memory:2736(kb) exe:/bin/gzip cmd:gzip

I believe the issue has something to do with the server running suPHP. Is there a way to globally fix this?

Run Time:24(secs

Runs 24 seconds and then kills it? I think you might like to go over your settings a little closer to set this just a bit higher.

What should I set the time limit to 2 hours? Some backups take that long. I dont have any issues with the settings besides this.

You have 3 choices:

1. Whitelist the /bin/tar executable in csf.pignore

2. Raise the trigger levels

3. Don't kill user process, just use the information to investigate further when you receive the alert
