CSF and Jetbackup kill

Post by bluerayconcepts »

We have recently been having an issue with JetBackup restoration processes getting kill by CSF. If we disable CSF the restoration process goes off without a hitch. Troubleshooting with CPanel and Jetbackup we narrowed this down to CSF killing the mongod process for JetBackup.

So per JetBackup support we placed exe:/usr/local/jetapps/usr/bin/mongod in the pignore file. This worked for a while but we are now running into this issue again. It looks like the restoration process is being killed and the only thing i can find in the logs is the following.

lfd[2490703]: *Excessive Processes* User:XXXXXX Kill:1 Process Count:14

Is there another setting someplace I am missing.

Currently when we want to restore we have to disable CSF > restore > renable CSF.

Looks like your process got killed due to the total process count of the user. Consider increasing PT_USERPROC in /etc/csf/csf.conf.
