Hi,
I have set LF_PERMBLOCK_ALERT = 0 and restarted CSF through WHM but I am still receiving email alerts on Excessive resource usage. Are there any other configurations that I have missed out?
Turn off Excessive resource usage email notification
Re: Turn off Excessive resource usage email notification
Are the emails sent by CSF or by cPanel?
Any way, you can add an email rule to delete that emails and you will never get them.
Enter into your cPanel, go to the email address where you receive the notifications and enter into the option "EMAIL FILTER" create there the rule and set it to delete, you will never get that emails again.

Re: Turn off Excessive resource usage email notification
Hello, how do you tell if the emails are sent by CSF or cPanel? I contacted cPanel and they mentioned that this is a CSF issue.
Do you mean go into WHM to do the Email Filter? Is there any guide I could follow?
I do want to receive email notification for excessive resource usage but not lfd on xx: blocked though.

Re: Turn off Excessive resource usage email notification
Ok, then do the following:
- Using webmail enter into the email address where you receive the emails.
- On the main page, enter into "Email Filtering".
- Enter into Create New Filter.
- On the following page on the first line write a name for the filter you are creating.
- On the next line, select "Subject" "Contains".
- On the line in black, write part of the subject that you don't want to receive, ex. "lfd on:"
- In the last line set to "Delete".
Save the rule and since that moment you will not receive more of those emails.

Re: Turn off Excessive resource usage email notification
@sergio - I'm sorry, but this is a terrible solution because it doesn't solve the problem. How do you STOP LFD from sending them in the first place?
Re: Turn off Excessive resource usage email notification
Look at the PT_USERKILL and PT_USERKILL_ALERT options in /etc/csf/csf.conf
