CSF no longer blocking IP Address WHM v98.0.6

Hi team,

It appears on all 8 of our WHM servers csf is no longer blocking the IP address in /etc/csf/csf.deny file. Even when manually added the ip addresses are no longer blocked.

We initially assessed and noticed on one server issue as we could not block spam ip from spamming site in CSF it was still continueing. Then we replicated on 8 other servers and noticed CSF was not blocking on any servers.

Steps to replicate:

1. csf -d XXXXXX
2. csf -x
3. csf -e (or csf -r) what ever
4. the ip address can still access and see all websites on server


Happy to provide what ever information we require. It appears to stop working after recent WHM update.

Also to confirm PORT blocking is working fine. Example should i block port 2083 it works etc. The problem here is "blocking an IP Address" completely from the server is NOT working.
