lfd exclusion not work

Post by vavagyan »

Hello.
I use csf on Debian 10.
/lib/systemd/systemd-timesyncd added to /etc/csf/csf.pignore by default. But I periodically receive mail about "Excessive resource usage: systemd-timesync". Please help resolve problem.

Good morning,

I think you should exclude the process name, or the user (if it is not running under root). Excluding the folder /lib/systemd/systemd-timesyncd is, I think, useless.

Thank you. I will add user systemd-timesync to /etc/csf/csf.pignore and the problem was solved.
