CXS and the cPanel Transfer Tool

Post by kenwardc »

Hi there, Folks

I'm new here so please treat me gently! :D

I have just recently had CXS installed on one of my cPanel servers - the idea being to test it and then if it works well, to purchase it for the other servers in our rack. However, the first problem I have come across is the inability of the transfer tool to work in cPanel. I have tried to copy an account from another of our cPanel servers to this new server but it fails. If I try to copy it to any other server (without CXS installed) it works flawlessly, so I'm pretty sure it's CXS that is causing the transfer to fail.

Has anyone else had this happen and if so how do I stop CXS from getting in the way of my inbound transfer?

Many thanks
Chris

Maybe check if you have cxs blocks enabled as it adds ip lists to CSF.

In otherwords check /etc/cxs/cxs.blocklists

and comment all the lists. Restart CSF and retry

Alternatively check for your server IPs in the list https://download.configserver.com/reputation/all.txt
Note you can only download that file on the server using wget etc. because its strictly only for servers that are licenced.
