Aloha,
I recently purchased the ConfigServer cPanel setup package, and have now noted a ClamAV Logwatch error regarding it being outdated.
I've followed the instructions listed within the body of the email, and the update process states the package is not installed.
https://www.clamav.net/documents/upgrading-clamav
[root@ws1 ~]# yum update clamav
Loaded plugins: fastestmirror, rhnplugin, universal-hooks
This system is receiving updates from CLN.

* EA4: 66.23.237.210
* cpanel-addons-production-feed: 66.23.237.210
* cloudlinux-x86_64-server-7: xmlrpc.cln.cloudlinux.com
Package(s) clamav available, but not installed.
As managing my ClamAV installs on all other CentOS servers seems to occur without issue, I wonder if this is related to a specific flavor which has been employed with CXS?
Thanks for your assistance. -Ian
ClamAV Update Issue
Re: ClamAV Update Issue
Hello,
You should only be using cPanel's clamavconnector with cxs, and should not have any other clamav installed, including via yum. You should uninstall any other clamav and then uninstall/reinstall clamavconnector via WHM if you are having problems.
Regards,
Sarah

Re: ClamAV Update Issue
That is the only one I am running on this server. I've uninstalled and reinstalled it, and the version number has remained the same.
Shall I open a ticket with cPanel to resolve this?

Yes, that would be my suggestion.
