Messenger HTTPS domain count wrong

I'm not sure how LFD is doing its calculations but I noticed this in the LFD log on one of our Plesk servers. There are only 329 domains registered in Plesk:

Messenger HTTPS Service died, restarted
Messenger HTTPS Service started for 850 domains

Also for reference MESSENGER_HTTPS_CONF points to /etc/httpd/conf/plesk.conf.d/vhosts/*.conf

That directory has symlinks to all the htttpd.conf files. I checked the count on that server and there were 287 links total.

It is a total of all the ServerName and ServerAlias entries in the apache configuration for all VirtualHosts.
