rules folder changing

Sarah Michaelson suggested moving this discussion here from the MailScanner Discussion list.

You don't actually edit the rules files via the front-end. Where to find it in the front-end depends on exactly what you want to do. Since this is not actually a MailScanner issue or question it seems better to take this discussion to our helpdesk or forum, where we would be happy to help. Thanks.
I want to edit the contents of spam.score.rules and spamhigh.score.rules.

The spam.score.rules file keeps getting auto-edited to the following:
To: *@mydomain.tld 3
FromOrTo: default 5

I want it to be just:
FromOrTo: default 5

Similarly, spamhigh.score.rules keeps getting auto-edited to the following:
To: *@mydomain.tld 10
FromOrTo: default 20

I want it to be just:
FromOrTo: default 20

I'm pretty sure it picked up
To: *@mydomain.tld 3
and
To: *@mydomain.tld 10
from when I upgraded to MailScanner v5 from MailScanner v4.

Looks like the specific domain/account has its own settings. You need to either go to the mailscanner plugin in that domain's cpanel account, or in WHM go to Plugins > ConfigServer MailScanner FE > Modify User Settings (select the user for the affected domain) > click on "Other Settings" and you will see the spam score threshold settings for the account there and can reset it to the default.
