Excessive processess running under user

Hi,

I am new to csf and lfd. I am facing a problem for last few days.

My server is sending emails to me with title "Excessive processess under a user".

The email contents are following (replaced actual username with [user])

Code: Select all

Time:          Fri May 27 08:25:09 2016 +0530
Account:       [user]
Process Count: 31 (Not killed)

Process Information:

User:[user] PID:31536 PPID:31534 Run Time:22(secs) Memory:391256(kb) exe:/usr/bin/php cmd:/usr/bin/php /home/[user]/public_html/index.php
...... many same lines with different process id

I am unable to identify the exact reason for these processes.

I have wordpress installed here and I have no script which will be used on command line.

Please anyone help me.

Me too facing the same issue. I contacted CSF support, but they told to search/post query in forum. Kindly let me know if anybody is aware of this issue and can help is sorting this out?
