faststart error

Post by bwebsrl »

I get this error every day

You have an unresolved error when starting csf:
Error: FASTSTART: (Packet Filter IPv4) [] [iptables-restore: line 2 failed]. Try restarting csf with FASTSTART disabled, at line 4800 in /usr/sbin/csf

You need to restart csf successfully to remove this warning, or delete /etc/csf/csf.error

if I disable faststart csf is very slow to restart why there are too many rules

Try restarting csf with FASTSTART disabled, at line 3777

Edit csf config file located at /etc/csf/csf.conf and disable FASTSTART by editing FASTSTART = “1” to
FASTSTART = “0”.

Once the change is made restart csf by running csf -r, csf should be running fine now.
