Hi
I posted another thread about problems running csf under centos7
But I didnt ask about firewalld
at the moment I disabled it and installed iptables/ip6tables -services
since firewalld seems to be the centos way now, are there any docs for how csf runs under centos7?
regards

Re: CentOS7 and firewalld
firewalld is just another way to manage netfilter chains and rules rather than using iptables. csf does not use firewalld and it should be disabled.
Re: CentOS7 and firewalld
Using CSF helps to protect servers against many security attacks such as brute force attacking. It comes with a service called (LFD) Login Failure Daemon that prevents unauthorized access to network daemons by watches your user activity for excessive login failures that we want to restrict access by IP address to helps in preventing access to compromise networks daemons.
