Reseller Privileges Not Working

Post by ddanielle »

Hi

Our server is running WHM 11.52 and the latest CSF. As per viewtopic.php?f=6&t=9040 I've enabled reseller privileges in the firewall config AND manually in /var/cpanel/resellers, but now when accessing CSF via the reseller WHM I get the error:

HTTP error 401

cgi/configserver/csf.cgi

You do not have permission to access this page.

AppConfig for “csf,” requires that you must have one of the following acls: “software-ConfigServer-csf” to access the url: “/cgi/configserver/csf.cgi”.

Got this to work in a bit of an unconventional way:

* WHM > Resellers > Edit Reseller Nameservers and Privileges
* Tick "Third Party Services" - "Manage Third Party Services"
* Name & Save the ACL
* When the ACL finished saving, press the browser back button to move back to the previous screen. Suddenly the "ConfigServer Security & Firewall (Reseller UI)" option appears (and it's the only way it appears). Make sure it is ticked and SAVE the ACL AGAIN.
* WHM > Plugins > and it should work now (it does for me)
