The reseller privileges is not working on cPanel/WHM 11.52.0 (build 18)

Post by BruceHuang »

Hey, guys!

I just installed csf on a new server. But I didn't find the option of "csf UI" at "Third Party Services
Manage Third Party Services" . So the csf UI is not available on reseller plugin list. So how can I do?
There was the option on cpanel but after I update cpanel to latest version it disappeared. Is the issue with cpanel or csf? I am also sure I have given the access to reseller at /etc/csf/csf.resellers (username::0:USE,UNBLOCK,GREP), yet still not working.

I tried to find figure out. I found I cannot use whm configuration to solve it because csf is not written in acl.

Is any idea to solve it?

AppConfig for “csf,” requires that you must have one of the following acls: “software-ConfigServer-csf” to access the url: “/cgi/configserver/csf.cgi”.

We've confirmed that it is a bug in cPanel v11.52 and have reported the issue to cPanel.

Until they fix it, you can manually enable the option for the appropriate reseller by editing /var/cpanel/resellers and adding software-ConfigServer-csf to a comma separated list, e.g.:

Code: Select all

myreseller:disallow-shell,software-ConfigServer-csf
